Here are the rules for the tractor cruise:

  • ALL PARTICIPANTS, both drivers and riders, will be required to sign a liability waiver.
  • You MUST have liability insurance on your entry and have proof of insurance at check-in. Talk to your insurance agent about getting 1-day coverage for the event if you don’t have coverage already. It usually doesn’t cost much. **IMPORTANT! Homeowners insurance and farm blanket policies will NOT cover you for a tractor cruise!**
  • All operators must have a valid state motor vehicle license. You will need to present it at check-in.
  • Machines should be in good working order with good brakes and tight steering. There will be a safety inspection conducted on each entry.
  • An SMV (slow moving vehicle) sign is required on your entry.
  • Your entry must be able to sustain a speed of at least 10MPH.
  • Please have a tow strap stored on your machine.
  • All riders MUST use a securely fastened buddy seat.
  • NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED!
  • No duals, attachments, ATVs, or oversize equipment will be allowed. (Basically, if it makes your tractor any longer or wider then it is probably not allowed.) NO LOADERS! NO EXCEPTIONS! This is for safety! If you have any questions on what is allowed or not, make sure to CALL US FIRST.
  • No bicycle companions allowed.

If you have pre-registered and cannot attend your registration fee will be refunded upon request. If you have any further questions please contact Howard Hollensteiner at (573) 564-2979.
